$550.00; Please bring own materials (list provided upon registration)

Bob RohmÕs fresh, informative workshops are an intensive period of work, study and fun.  The Saginaw Art Museum is proud to welcome this gifted painter and instructor.

Bob found joy in art at a young age.  After  graduating from the York Academy of Art he worked in the film and video industry.  The demands of running his own production company interrupted his personal painting for nearly ten years.  Upon settling in Texas, his return to painting was triggered by the broad   vistas of the landscape.  He began to cut back on his production company and, within a few years, was a full-time painter.

Bob teaches, lectures and demonstrates throughout the United States.  His art and teachings have been featured in numerous publications, and his work has won many awards and is in private and corporate collections.

Each day, Bob lectures and demonstrates for students.  Topics include application of the medium to achieving clean color, good value relationships and balanced compositions.  He works individually with each student and guides them at their own level and in their own style.  Weather permitting, students will paint either in oil or pastel en plein air each day.
