The exhibition DESIGNING AN ICON: Creativity and the American Automobile, on view from August 13 through October 3, highlights nearly 100 rare drawings from American automobile designers of the early 1960s-70s. During this era, the so-called Musclecars came into being.

The event this month features History of the Musclecar Era, a video presentation by BILL PORTER, automobile historian and former head of General Motors Advanced Design Studio. The presentation, which begins at 6 pm, is historical in character with plenty of juicy tidbits for the gear-heads too. Hors d’oeuvres & refreshments will be served.
