Directions to the Museum

The Saginaw Art Museum is located between Old Town Saginaw and Downtown Saginaw, conveniently close to several other cultural destinations in Saginaw.

2012 - 2013 Michigan Avenue Reconstruction

Michigan Avenue provides access to the parking lot of the Saginaw Art Museum, located on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Remington Street.

• The 2012 reconstruction consists of work on Michigan Avenue between Court Street and Remington Street. This project will be begin April 23 and is expected to be complete on or before September 28.

• The 2013 construction consists of work on Michigan Avenue from Remington Street to State Street (M-58). This project will be begin April 22 and is expected to be complete on or before September 27.

The Museum recommends using M-13 (Washington Avenue) to Remington Street if travelling from the southwest or north instead of Michigan Avenue during above periods. Reconstruction on the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Remington may cause some delays but access to the Museum currently is possible.

Take I-75 North through Flint
Continue on I-75 N/US-23 N toward Saginaw
Merge onto I-675 N via Exit 150 toward Downtown Saginaw [3.5 mi]
Take the Davenport Ave exit, Exit 3, toward M-58/Michigan Ave [0.5 mi]
Turn Left onto N Michigan Ave [1.0 mi]
End at 1126 N Michigan Ave (on the left side of the street before W. Remington intersects)

From the Southwest

Take I-69 toward Lansing
Take Exit 123 toward Saginaw/M-13, turn right onto M-13/Sheridan Ave [0.3 mi]
Continue to Saginaw, where M-13 becomes Washington Avenue [32 mi]
Turn Left onto Remington St [0.5 mi]
Turn Right onto N Michigan Ave [350 ft]
End at 1126 N Michigan Ave (on the right corner of N. Michigan and W. Remington)

From the North

Take I-75 South to Exit 155 toward I-675/Downtown Saginaw [0.6 mi]
Merge onto I-675 S [4.2 mi]
Take Exit 3 toward M-58/Michigan Ave/Davenport Ave [0.2 mi]
Exit ramp merges onto Hill St/Schaefer St 
Continue straight on Hill St until the end [0.5 mi]
Merge Left onto Congress Ave [500 ft]
Merge Right onto N Michigan Ave [0.9 mi]

Take M-46 toward Saginaw, continuing on M-46/Gratiot Ave

Take M-46 toward Saginaw, continuing on M-46/Holland Rd
