Fabulous Fabric Painting with Allise Noble

$25 for members | $30 for non-members

Learn how to integrate printed fabric and found objects into your paintings. Choose a print, wrap your canvas board, and follow instructor guidance to plan a design that works with your chosen fabric’s colors and pattern. All skill levels welcome – designs can be as simple or as detailed as you prefer. The possibilities are endless! All skill levels welcome.

About the instructor:

Allise Noble is an award winning Michigan artist with a background in fine art and interior design. Though 2D mediums are her first love, she enjoys exploring and combining a wide array of materials. She likes to fill her drawings and paintings with little surprises: clay, fabric, metal, buttons – especially objects she has collected that have a memory or story associated with them. In addition to traditional artwork, Allise enjoys crafting art dolls and upcycling clothing and handbags, all one of a kind. For her “day job”, she teaches art to creators of all ages and abilities at nonprofits throughout the Great Lakes Bay region and is especially passionate about working with artists with disabilities and mental health struggles. Allise believes in the healing power of creativity and is blessed to see every day how creation sparks joy in both the creator and those around them. She believes everyone is an artist and that each person on earth has the ability to do something creative that can touch another person, and it is never too late to begin.
