After Hours: April Wagner Lecture

October 17, 2018

Artist April Wagner will be providing a lecture on October 17 in connection to her current exhibition at the Saginaw Art Museum, Molten Sensuality: The Crystalline Creations of April Wagner. A Michigan native, Wagner’s sculptures first created in college and later at her studio in Pontiac Michigan consist of soda lime glass. “seductive allure” and “fluidity and grace.” For Wagner, “the physical act of creating glass, taking raw material and breathing life into it,” defines her place in the universe.

The After Hours programs are sponsored by WNEM 5 and have been created to further engage the community with arts education and experiences. All ages are welcome 6pm-8pm at the Museum!
