2026 Workshop Schedule | 1:00pm – 4:00pm
June 20: Screen Printing
Inspired by the work of Andy Warhol and the current exhibition at Saginaw Art Museum & Gardens. Participants can try screen printing using a pre-designed image and take home their own print inspired by Warhol’s bold pop art style.
August 1: Sun Prints
Did you know you can take a photo without using a camera? Stroll the museum garden for organic materials and make a sun print with cyanotype photo paper! This workshop will be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
August 22: Painting in the Gardens
*THIS ART ENCOUNTER HAS BEEN MOVED INSIDE DUE TO WEATHER. WE WILL BE DOING WATERCOLOR PAINTING OVERLOOKING THE GARDENS!*
Paint en plein air, is the practice of painting outdoors! Grab a small canvas, find a good view of blooming flowers, and paint away. All levels are welcome. Volunteers will be available to provide guidance. One canvas per person.
