Join the Saginaw Art Museum as we partner with the Great Lakes Bay Hispanic Leadership Institute, La Unión Cívica Mexicana , Mi Gente Magazine, and Catholic Federal Credit Union, as we celebrate Día de los Muertos! Come and experience the rich visual, musical and culinary traditions of the Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) holiday, celebrated in Mexico and parts of Central and South America. This event will include an exhibition of beautiful, locally crafted ofrenda (offering) displays, traditional food and hands-on crafts for the whole family!
This event runs from 6-8pm. Ofrendas will be on display from November 1st until November 5th during normal museum hours. Traditional Día de los Muertos outfits are encouraged!
This event is free and open to the public.
