June 17, 2023
Join us for an Art Encounter in celebration of Juneteenth at the Saginaw Museum in cooperation with the Public Libraries of Saginaw, where we come together to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and embrace the rich diversity of our community. In this collaborative project, participants will contribute to the creation of a larger image by decorating individual squares within a designated template, using multiple mediums of their choice.
Art Encounter Leader:

“Born and raised in Saginaw, MI, and educated at the Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy, I further honed my artistic skills at the Savannah College of Art and Design, graduating with a BFA in Fashion Marketing and Management in 2017. Today, as a full-time designer and entrepreneur serving clients primarily in the beauty industry, my perception of “GOOD and BEAUTIFUL” art is shaped by these experiences.”
