The Art of Saving: Be a Piggy Bank Picasso!

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27

2:30 pm

$15 per Piggy Bank

Students 1st grade through 8th grade are welcome to sign up.

Students must be accompanied by an adult (parent/guardian). The adult does not have to register for the class, just the child. Please no more than two adult accompaniments per child. 

Sessions last from 1-1.5 hours.

Kids will explore their inner Picasso as they glaze their own piggy banks and discover how smart saving habits can lead to big dreams.

We will have pre-made 6-inch piggy banks ready for you to glaze. All materials are provided. Before we start, get a quick lesson in financial literacy from Dow Credit Union. Piggy banks will be fired in our kiln and can be picked up the following week during open hours.

Registration closes September 25.

PAYMENT

You will not be officially registered for the class until there is payment in the full. You can do so only via credit card online or in cash/check during museum visiting hours.

SICK POLICY

If you are sick with anything contagious, please stay home to keep everyone safe. For some reason you arrive and are sick, please wear a mask or ask a staff person for one. If you do not comply, you may be asked to leave the class.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We do not do refunds for this class. However, you can send someone else in your place. Please let us know ahead of time.
