The Patricia A. Wolfgram Museum Tunes Concert Series at the Saginaw Art Museum is a free concert series that brings multiple genres of music to the museum gardens for evenings that engaged the senses all summer long. Guests are invited to enjoy the museum’s temporary exhibitions and collection before coming out to the garden for the tunes. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to these special events that are sure to fuel the creative spirit.

Can I bring my own chair?
Yes! We will have some chairs set up in the garden, but if you have your own special chair for the garden you are welcome to bring it. We request chairs stay out of the museum galleries to avoid the risk of accidental damage of art works.

Will there be food and drink?
We will have a bar set up providing beverages including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. We respectfully request there be no outside food or alcoholic beverages brought to the event.

Can I request a group for next year?
By all means! We are happy to consider musical acts that may be a good fit for the series.

How can I help ensure the Museum Tunes concert series continues to be a success?
There are two big ways you can help. 1. Tell a friend and/or bring a friend. Introduce the museum to those in your circles. 2. Donate: Even small donations are helpful as they add up to help cover costs associated with the museum expenses. You can make your donation when you register!

NEW THIS YEAR! Pergola Projects at select dates for our youngest guests! Youngsters can participate in making art projects before the concert in our pergola space out in the garden see details below. Support for Pergola Projects provided by the Saginaw Arts and Enrichment Commission

Pergola Project: Create jazz-inspired artwork! Jazz music combines different rhythms and improvisations, similar to a collage made of various materials. The artist Wassily Kandinsky, could hear music when he painted, so he filled his art with exciting colors, shapes, and lines. Visit us in the garden an hour before the show to use Kandinsky and jazz as inspiration to make an abstract collage!
