Are you interested in the arts? Apply to be on the Youth Arts Council! Learn about event management and run the SAM Youth Arts Festival from start to finish.
All students should be an 9th-12th grader in Saginaw, Midland, or Bay County. Youth Arts Council Members will be required to attend meetings prior to the event and be present during the Youth Arts Festival weekend. They will be responsible for the successful running of the event including marketing, volunteer recruitment, welcoming visitors, running art activities, choosing films, managing youth performances, and more. This is a great opportunity for young people to get experience in education, live performances, event management, volunteer management, and marketing. We want the event to be by and for students! Please note this is a volunteer opportunity.
Applications are due January 9 by 9:00 pm. You will be notified if you are one of the students selected by January 13.

-Saturday, May 9, 9:00am-5:00pm – SET-UP AND RUN MUSICAL PERFORMANCES, ART ACTIVTIES, SCAVENGER HUNTS, FOOD TRUCK, ETC. (lunch provided)
